PAUL Warne believes his Derby side’s away fixture against Shrewsbury served as a perfect microcosm of their season as the Rams failed to stamp their authority on a frustrating loss.
The Shrews had Derby’s Conor Hourihane to thank as he secured the side a home win over Derby for the first time since 1984, heading into his own net from a Taylor Perry cross.
Rams boss Warne said: “It’s a microcosm of our season. Really good in parts and unbelievable opportunities but can not hit the net.
