CHANGE: The exact time lost will be added

GET READY FOR MORE STOPPAGE TIME, FANS

THE EFL have outlined a number of new measures for the 2023-24 season – and it could lead to lengthy stoppage time.
In an attempt to enhance the amount of time the ball is in play, the exact time lost when certain game events occur will now be added. In previous seasons the policy was to add on a nominal period of time for certain game events.
