A fortnight ago Alfie May bagged the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award – and now he’s made it a double with the Goal of the Month prize.
A stunning volley from the halfway line in the 3-0 win at Peterborough earned May the March accolade.
“They are great awards to win,” said the 29-year-old, who had notched 15 league goals this term heading into the weekend. “I said it before and I’ll say it again - it wouldn’t be possible without my teammates.
