First game you watched live? Liverpool v Southampton at Anfield. I think it was 1-1 and I remember Ian Rush playing because all the fans were singing his name. That’s about all I can remember. I grew up in Carlisle, but my older brother supported Liverpool - probably because they were the best team in the 80s - and I just jumped on the bandwagon.
