HITMAN MATTY’S GLAD TO BE BACK

FOREST Green Rovers striker Matty Stevens is delighted to be back in action after his injury agony.
The 24-year-old notched 27 goals in league and cup last term as Rovers won the League Two title, but he missed the end of the campaign after sustaining an ACL injury in early April.
He made his long-awaited return to action on Boxing Day as a second half substitute in the 1-0 defeat at MK Dons in League One.
“It was a great feeling to be back out there,” said Stevens.
“It’s what I’ve been waiting to do for eight and a half months.
