Highly-rated manager Leam Richardson wants to continue driving Wigan Athletic forward after committing his future to the club.
Richardson took over in late 2020 when Wigan were in administration in League One and kept them in the third tier that season. Last term he led the Latics to the League One title and is now trying to establish them back in the Championship.
His work hasn’t gone unnoticed and rival clubs have been linked with making a move for him, but the 42-year-old has now signed a new three-year contract.
