ZAC Williams is expected to miss Crewe’s entire pre-season after suffering ankle ligament damage in the closing stages of the clash with Ipswich.The 18-year-old was due to visit a specialist this week to determine the extent of the injury, but a Crewe statement read: “The defender landed awkwardly on his ankle.“Williams has suffered a grade three ligament tear and is expected to miss the entire pre-season.“The youngster will have to embark on a mini pre-season of his own once the injury has healed.”
