NEW head of recruitment Nicky Shorey has all of the attributes needed to bring success to Gillingham, according to chairman Paul Scally.
Shorey, 41, best known for his time at Reading where he made over 250 outings, was appointed to the role last Monday.
Scally said: “His energy and enthusiasm for the position, with his knowledge of the game, were key in our thinking process.”
