GLEN Rea “made a really positive impact” on the Wigan squad and boss Leam Richardson was sad to see him return to Luton for surgery.The 27-year-old midfielder suffered a knee injury during the Latics’ win over AFC Wimbledon at the start of March, cutting short his loan.Richardson said: “He’s a great person and great professional. The major disappointment is the injury came when he was just starting to get a little run going in the side.”
