SUNDERLAND boss Alex Neil hopes Danny Batth is finally approaching full fitness after suffering more than one setback in his recovery from an ankle injury.The 31-year-old defender has been restricted to only a handful of games since joining the Black Cats from Stoke in January, but Neil believes he could be back in the reckoning soon.“It has been a slow burner,” said Neil.“It’s not anything severe and hopefully over the next week it should start to clear up and we can get him going.”
