First game you watched live?
Southend United versus Spurs in the League Cup when I was about nine. I was born and raised in Southend, and always watched them as a kid.
It was at Roots Hall, back when every round was over two legs. They had Gary Lineker, Paul Gascoigne, Gary Mabbutt. A brilliant team, but we won 3-2. Unfortunately, they’d won the first leg 1-0 at White Hart Lane so they went through on away goals.
