BILLY Sass-Davies is suffering from deep vein thrombosis and will not play again this season, according to Crewe manager David Artell.Artell had been planning to play the defender last weekend, but a scan on the eve of the Accrington match discovered the 21-year-old had a blood clot in a calf. Artell said: “The scan revealed a DVT, so he is out for the rest of the season.”
