MORECAMBE manager Stephen Robinson reckons he has pulled off a coup by signing experienced defender Rhys Bennett on a shortterm deal.
The 30-year-old left fellow League One side Gillingham to join the Shrimps and has also previously played for Rochdale, Mansfield, Peterborough and Carlisle.
Shrimps boss Robinson said: “I am pleased to get Rhys over the line, he is someone that I have had an eye on throughout the season and we have worked hard to secure his signature.
