CHRIS Powell was influential in Nile John’s loan move to Charlton, according to manager Johnnie Jackson.The 18-year-old England youth international midfielder has joined the Addicks from Tottenham until the end of the season.Jackson said: “For me personally, having a relationship with Chris Powell, who is at Spurs (academy) now, I could tap into him and speak to him about the lad and get more insight on him.”
