RICHIE GLEE AS OLOWU SHINES BRIGHT

RICHIE Wellens admits Doncaster are keen to extend the short-term contract of Joseph Olowu, having been impressed by the defender’s progress.
The former Arsenal academy player left the Gunners in the summer and, after a successful trial, was snapped up by Rovers until January.
Since then the 21-yearold has adapted well to life in League One – making seven league appearances this term and scoring his first goal in a 1-1 midweek draw with Crewe, to convince manager Wellens that he could be a part of Donny’s long-term future.
