GED’S KEY FOR TOWN – CONOR

CONOR McLaughlin has tipped young striker Ged Garner to be a key player for Fleetwood having improved “massively”.
Northern Ireland full-back McLaughlin, 30, has returned for a second spell at Town and he has been impressed by what he has seen from Garner.
Speaking after the 22-year-old had scored his fifth goal in six league games in the 3-0 win over Crewe, McLaughlin said: “Ged earned his goal because of his hard work all day, he’s improved massively.
“He’s going to be important for us.”
