SHREWSBURY chairman Roland Wycherley has denied rumours regarding an imminent takeover of the club following recent speculation.
However, Wycherley did confirm that he has looked to secure the safe long-term future of the club for several years.
A club statement read: “The chairman has always considered the future of the club and the importance of any decision for the club longterm.”
