A whopping 46 goals were scored across the 12 matches – an average of almost four per game!
Sunderland roared to the top of the table with a thumping 5-0 home success against Cheltenham. Ross Stewart led the way with a double, while Bailey Wright, Luke O’Nien and sub Leon Dajaku also got on the scoresheet.
Ipswich went one better as they thrashed basement side Doncaster 6-0 to climb out of the relegation zone. Lee Evans hit a hat-trick, Macauley Bonne a double and George Edmundson got the other.
