MICHAEL Appleton admits Lincoln are unlikely to sign a free agent before the January transfer window, despite scouring the market for reinforcements in attack.
The Imps scored 12 goals in their first ten League One matches but are thin up front, with Southampton loanee Daniel Nlundulu the only fit centre-forward.
The issue has been known for some time and Appleton had tried to sign Swansea’s Morgan Whittaker, 20, on deadline day but that move fell through.
