RED-HOT STRIKER STEWART BIGS UP HIS PALS

ROSS Stewart credits the quality of the service he’s receiving for his soaring start to the new season.
Having initially struggled with injuries after joining Sunderland from Ross County at the end of January – scoring only three goals in the second half of last season – Stewart is a man reborn this term.
Five goals in his first seven games mean the 25-year-old is one of League One’s hottest strikers, while Elliot Embleton, Lynden Gooch and Aiden McGeady have brilliantly combined with the Scot.
