GRIFFITHS EARNS THE PLAUDITS

LINCOLN’S on-loan goalkeeper Josh Griffiths received the praise of manager Michael Appleton following the midweek draw with Rotherham.
Griffiths’ secondhalf heroics helped the Imps to a 1-1 draw and his impressive display, where he made at least five top-class saves, did not go unnoticed.
 Appleton said of the 20-year-old: “He had a great game.
“It’s been a difficult start to his campaign, but to come through that type of match shows the type of character he’s got and what sort of keeper he is going to be.”
