CALLUM Johnson has called his decision to move on loan to Fleetwood as a “no-brainer” after he was told firstteam opportunities would be limited at parent club Portsmouth.
The right-back swapped the south coast for the north-west coast two weeks ago to plug a gap created by Brad Halliday’s injury in Fleetwood’s defence.
The 24-year-old, who played 41 times for Portsmouth in League One last season, said: “I knew a few of the lads here and the manager (Simon Grayson) is experienced.
“It was a no-brainer for me to want to come here and have the opportunity at least to play games.”
