First game you watched live?
I think it was West Ham against Reading at the Madejski. It would have been in the mid-2000s, and I’m pretty sure Teddy Sheringham scored in a 3-1 defeat for the Hammers. I was a big West Ham fan growing up, and I’m pretty sure all my family went to the game because Reading was our closest club. I would have been about seven or eight, and that experience definitely added to my desire to become a footballer.
