GILLINGHAM’s goalkeeping crisis has been given a helping hand with the signing of QPR shot- stopper Joe Lumley on an emergency loan.
Steve Evans moved to sign the 25-year-old after regular number one Jack Bonham suffered concussion in Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat to Ipswich Town and had to be replaced after half an hour.
Lumley has made three starts for the R’s this season, including their 2-0 opening-day victory over Nottingham Forest at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, but has seen game time dwindle after falling behind Switzerla...
