Lambert’s in luck as Hawkins finds gold

IPSWICH Town boss Paul Lambert admitted the gods of fortune were smiling on his side as Oli Hawkins’s first goal for the club derailed Crewe. Hawkins, who joined Town from Portsmouth in the summer, headed home Alan Judge’s cross after 62 minutes to seal the points for the Tractor Boys, who are yet to concede a goal at home.
