ELPHICK WILL ‘BE MISSED’

HUDDERSFIELD defender Tommy Elphick requires knee surgery following an injury sustained in their last fixture before the international break.
Elphick was replaced after just 20 minutes of the defeat at Preston and now needs an operation, after which his rehabilitation programme will be determined.
Terriers boss Danny Cowley said: “He was a big part of this team both as a player and a character. We will certainly miss his leadership qualities.
