PAUL Lambert thinks Ipswich have a bright future after being impressed by seven young homegrown players.
Tawanda Chirewa, at 16 years and 31 days, became the secondyoungest player in the club’s history against Colchester in midweek.
“I’m proud of the team. We had 16-yearolds at the end so that’s great for the club going forward,” Lambert said.
“That is magic to see so many young players out there. The whole experience will be great for them; the bus journey, eating with the lads; being in the firstteam environment.”
