NO GO: Plymouth’s game was called off

PLYMOUTH Argyle were forced to call off yesterday’s game against Grimsby after high winds caused damage to the Home Park roof.
It was a bitter blow for Grimsby fans, who faced an almost 700-mile round trip to Devon to see the Mariners in action. The match was called off less than three hours before kick-off.
In a statement, Plymouth said: “Severe winds overnight have caused significant damage to the roof of Home Park, rendering parts of the ground unsafe for spectators.
