FLEETWOOD boss Joey Barton revealed he never had any doubts his side would win after they edged past MK Dons.
The Cod Army sealed victory late on as super-sub Ched Evans pounced from close range after goalkeeper Lee Nicholls spilled a cross.
Barton said: “There was never a thought in our heads that we’d lose the game. We kept saying ‘we’re going to score, we’re going to win’, and thankfully we did.
