GRECIANS RUE BLOW TO WARD

EXETER City goalkeeper Lewis Ward is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken arm.
The 22-year-old, who joined the Grecians from Reading in the summer, was injured in the closing stages of their 1-1 draw at Crewe and subsequent scans have revealed a fractured ulna in his right arm.
Ward had been an ever-present for Exeter this season and manager Matt Taylor is unsure how long he will be missing for.
Taylor said: “Everyone is very disappointed for Lewis, who has been excellent at the start of this season. We wish him a speedy recovery.”
