ONE eye on next season inspired a perfect finish to this, according to Gillingham caretaker Mark Patterson, who put their win at Blackpool down to an eagerness to impress prospective managers. Patterson was installed last week following the shock sacking of Steve Lovell and the club are seeking a quick replacement ahead of next season.
