Sarcevic digs deep hole for Shrimpers

DEREK ADAMS felt his Plymouth team dominated yesterday’s match at Southend United and that the scoreline flattered the hosts.
The Shrimpers scored twice in the final five minutes after the Pilgrims had raced to a 3-0 lead at Roots Hall.
And Adams was adamant second from bottom Plymouth were by far the better team.
“It was a very good and sweet performance and we were far better than Southend from the start to the finish”, he said.
