THERE was a Boxing Day hangover for the division’s front-runners – the top four sides all lost.
Leaders Lincoln crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Crewe (Chris Porter and James Jones). Second-placed MK Dons slumped to a 3-1 loss at Cheltenham (Nigel Atangana, Tyrone Barnett and Chris Clements).
Colchester lost their grip on third following a 2-1 reverse at home against Stevenage. Mansfield moved into the top three with a 2-1 victory against Bury, who had started the day in fourth. CJ Hamilton and Tyler Walker (pen) scored.
