KWESI EYES UP APPIAH SEASON

LIFE has never been dull for AFC Wimbledon forward Kwesi Appiah – and he’s hungry to get back to his best next term after an injury-plagued campaign.
The 27-year-old went from working in a call centre for Transport for London, while turning out for Non-League Margate, to partnering former Sunderland forward Asamoah Gyan in the African Cup of Nations final in the space of four years.
Since that fateful day in 2015, Appiah has suffered a litany of setbacks, including an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament three years ago.
