It’s Miller time for doomed Shakers

BOTTOM side Bury at least gave themselves something to build on heading into next season as George Miller notched an equaliser that saw them come from behind to end their three-year stay in League One with a valiant draw against AFC Wimbledon.
Dons midfielder Dean Parrett put the hosts in front with a superb halfvolley after Barry Fuller’s long throw fell to him at the back post.
Kwesi Appiah doubled their advantage on 34 minutes, firing past the luckless Joe Murphy for his third goal for the club after hesitation in the Shakers’ backline.
