Pitman at the double to stick it to Posh

A STIRRING double from Portsmouth captain Brett Pitman sank Peterborough at Fratton Park.
The 30-year-old striker scored his 24th goal in all competitions, ensuring Pompey leapfrogged Peterborough to finish eighth in League One.
Meanwhile, rumoured Nottingham Forest target Jack Marriott was dropped to the bench by Posh boss Steve Evans amid ‘significant interest’ in the striker – a decision he may well regret after the visitors’ woeful show on goal.
