GILLINGHAM may have recorded just their third win of the season against promotion-chasing Rotherham, yet caretaker boss Steve Lovell is adamant it wasn’t even their best display of the campaign.
The visitors, still under the stewardship of Lovell following the departure of former caretaker boss Peter Taylor, had a double from Josh Parker to thank, as well as Tom Eaves’ goal straight after half-time, while Rotherham’s Joe Mattock was also handed a red card late on.
