DEFENDER TERENCE WINS DEAL

LEAGUE TWO
TERENCE Vancooten has signed a new deal with Stevenage.
Injuries and suspensions meant the 19-year-old defender was thrust into the first team in September, and Stevenage manager Darren Sarll is full of praise for the youngster.
“Terence has rightly been rewarded,” said Sarll. “Our model is to blood and produce young players in a very competitive market and Terence is testament to that.
“He has acquitted himself with maturity and composure. This a good start and he realises he must retain an ambition and hunger to improve.”
