BENWhiteman’s ten-minute hat-trick blew Southend away as Doncaster came from behind to claim a resounding first home League win of the season.
Southend had taken the lead in controversial circumstances – goalscorer Anthony Wordsworth was lucky to still be on the pitch after kicking a prone Jordan Houghton 20 minutes earlier.
