CHELTENHAM boss Gary Johnson won’t be on the sidelines for a few weeks as he recovers from successful heart surgery.
Johnson missed last weekend’s clash at Doncaster Rovers after going down with a heavy cold but continued to feel unwell and was subsequently admitted to hospital.
The 61-year-old underwent the procedure on Thursday and is now expected to miss the next few weeks as he recuperates, though the prognosis for a swift and full recovery is good.
