A FAILURE to see out a second straight win left John Sheridan frustrated at his Oldham Athletic players, but the Latics boss said he cannot wait for them to take on league leaders Sheffield United next weekend.
Sheridan felt his relegation-threatened side should have held on after Lee Erwin’s stunning first-half opener – his third goal in two games – but Peterborough substitute Junior Morias headed in a deserved equaliser for the hosts.
Despite now having lost just one game in nine, Sheridan felt a 1-1 draw was a missed chance to pull away from the bottom four.
