Elliot Lee insists he’s not given up hope of pulling on a Wrexham shirt again – but added that he won’t stick around to be a “bit-part player”.

After spending the past three months on loan at Doncaster Rovers, the 31-year-old midfielder has returned to the Racecourse Ground, where he has a year to run on his contract.
Prior to Rovers’ final fixture at Peterborough United yesterday, Lee had netted three times in 17 outings for the South Yorkshire outfit, including Sky Bet League One’s Goal of the Month winner for March – a spectacular dipping volley against Plymouth Argyle.
