West Bromwich Albion interim head coach James Morrison said he hoped Tom Fellows’ first brace for the club against Luton Town wouldn’t prove to be his farewell gift to the club.
The Hatters thought they had a fighting chance of beating the drop when Millenic Alli cancelled out Fellows’ early strike for Albion.
But a second goal for Fellows, a brace for Callum Styles and one from Daryl Dike put paid to their hopes.
Everton and Southampton have shown an interest in the 21-year-old £10m-rated winger amid transfer rumours.
