West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Mowbray has challenged his players to become more “clinical” after they strolled to an easy win against shot-shy Oxford United at The Hawthorns.
Former Oxford loan midfielder Alex Mowatt’s 11th-minute goal and substitute John Swift’s 102nd-minute effort returned Mowbray’s side to winning ways and saw them climb into the play-offs.
But Albion, who had 21 shots, should have won more comfortably.
