QPR legend Kevin Gallen has warned incoming boss Neil Critchley that managing the Hoops will be a major step up from his previous post at Blackpool.
The 44-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Loftus Road and replaces Mick Beale, who controversially quit to join Scottish giants Rangers last month.
He previously led Blackpool to promotion from League One, and last season kept the Tangerines in the Championship on a bottom-three budget.
