Callum Lang scored a sensational four goals as Portsmouth came from behind to thrash Coventry City 4-1 at Fratton Park.
Norman Bassette had given the Sky Blues a lead inside 150 seconds but Lang – who hadn’t previously scored a professional hat-trick – turned them around with a magnificent individual performance.
It took Pompey out of the relegation zone (ahead of the 3pm kick-offs) and gave them a fourth home game on the spin without defeat.
