Jack Clarke climbed off the bench to snatch a late winner for Ipswich Town against West Bromwich Albion, with boss Kieran McKenna breathing a sigh of relief.
The Tractor Boys had lost their previous two matches, but Clarke’s heroics in the 83rd minute ensured they bounced back from a 3-0 thumping at home to Charlton in midweek.
McKenna threw on Clarke, Ivan Azon and Jens Cajuste in the second half, and all three combined to produce the breakthrough after a defensive lapse.
