Valerien Ismael praised ‘honest’ Blackburn Rovers for staying calm after brushing off going behind against Watford to remain in the playoff picture on the final day.
Rovers have hung on to the coat-tails of the play-off chasers, despite their recent form, but Mattie Pollock’s 47th-minute header for the visitors threatened to derail their push.
They refused to give up and overwhelmed Watford through a superb Todd Cantwell volley on the hour.
