Blackburn Rovers head coach Valerien Ismael said the 2-1 defeat to Derby County had left both him and his players disappointed.
The Rovers came away with nothing from a game that Ismael felt his side had controlled for most of the second half.
Craig Forsyth and captain Ebou Adams both scored in an explosive opening seven minutes that saw John Eustace's side race into a 2-0 lead.
Makhtar Gueye grabbed a goal back for the visitors before the break, but Derby held on for the win as Eustace was victorious against his former side.
