Bitterly disappointed David Lowe admitted his Blackburn Rovers side were second-best against Swansea City.
Rovers, who had won both of their previous games 2-0 under caretaker boss Lowe, were generally poor from start to finish – and Lowe wasn’t in the mood to make excuses.
At 2-0 down in the second half, Lowe made a triple substitution after 56 minutes – sending on Emmanuel Dennis, John Buckley and Augustus Kargbo – in a bid to turn the tide.
But even that failed to do the trick.
